  Went to the Penny Farthing for breakfast at 10am on a Saturday morning. Had delicious Eggs Royale and my partner had a veggie breakfast. They were flexible about changes to both dishes and the food took no time to arrive at the table.
  The food itself was delicious and we were very impressed by the Glamorgan sausages on the veggie breakfast.
  The environment was beautifully rustic and the walled garden at the rear looked perfect for a summer evening. Will certainly return.

  Ok cafe in Bridgend. Reasonable value for money although gets very busy on the weekends and some of the staff seemed young and inexperienced and didn't know how to interact with customers! Plus shame they don't do afternoon tea on Saturdays.

  A mixed response to this quaint restaurant. Having ordered we had a surprisingly long wait for our panini although they were delicious. However, the extra coleslaw I ordered was very unpleasant. Best of all were the desserts! They all looked amazing and it was so hard to choose. The banoffi pavlova did not disappoint!
